As one of the largest medical device companies in the country, BD demands disciplined brand execution. I served as primary art director and designer for the ChloraPrep and ChloraShield product lines, leading medical brochure and packaging design across multiple initiatives. BD operates under strict corporate guidelines. Precision is not optional. Every deliverable must align with established standards while remaining clear and engaging for clinical audiences.

For ChloraPrep, I art directed a two-day photoshoot featuring multiple models. The objective was personalized, real-world product imagery. The resulting visuals strengthened credibility and supported infection prevention messaging. I designed and produced brochures for ChloraPrep, ChloraShield, and the Steris partnership. Each piece required careful navigation of prescriptive corporate requirements. Layout, hierarchy, and data presentation were handled with disciplined consistency.

Beyond brochure work, I created the digital illustration and design for the Genesis rep box. The structure was designed to resemble an instrument tray for immediate recognition in clinical settings. The result was a distinctive and functional sales tool. I also designed multiple detailed instruction posters to support proper product use. Clarity and compliance were central to every decision. Visual simplicity reinforced BD’s leadership in infection prevention. One of the most substantial projects was the layout of a 112-page Inside Sales brochure. The document required sustained attention to detail and structural organization. Consistency across that scale reflects true medical brochure and packaging design leadership.

Throughout these projects, I operated as both art director and hands-on graphic designer. Every asset upheld BD’s authority while communicating benefits with precision. The result was a cohesive portfolio of materials that reinforced BD’s reputation in infection prevention and patient care.
